Babylon international Foundation for Cultures ,Arts 

This Foundation was founded in 2003 after the fall of the dictatorship .The first centre was opened in the capital Baghdad / Al magreb street , under the title “Mesopotamia Cultural Institution - Swiss Arab Cultural Centre" . It began to provide important services to Iraqi culture .So it launched a project to support libraries of Iraqi universities , including gifting of thousands books to the libraries of Baghdad university , Al-Mustansiriya University and the IIraqi Writers  Union . It's also restored the paintings of the "museum of Pioneer Artists " to the ministry of Culture after purchasing them from the owners during looting that followed the fall of the dictatorship . It continued the holding of plastic arts exhibitions until the year 2011 where the name was changed to "Institution of Babylon House for Cultures, Arts a and Media" . It opened a second centre in Babylon province - Hilla city , in addition to it's centre in Baghdad, which moved twice for security reasons before settling in Abu Nowas street in one of the heritage houses which was ramshackle house .So the institution restored it to be one of the effective places for activating the Iraqi cultural scene on the Arab and International levels .
It continued to hold it's great cultural and artistic events especially the organization of Babylon Festival for International Cultures and Arts , which has become a milestone in the Arab and international cultural events, in addition to its weekly and monthly events in all cultural topics .
